With MW4 Bot Lobbies already on a lot of players' minds, the next big question is what you actually get when you pre-order Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4. The game lands on October 23, 2026, and right now the two editions are pretty clear-cut: Standard or Vault. If you're the kind of player who wants the base game and nothing extra, one option makes sense. If you like cosmetics, early perks, and a few extras tied to the season pass, the other one starts to look better fast.

Standard Edition
The Standard Edition is the cheaper pick at $69.99. It gives you the full game, so that means Campaign, Multiplayer, and DMZ. For a lot of people, that's already enough. Pre-ordering before launch adds a few bonuses too, and the main one is the Hunter Killer Operator Skin. You also get early access to the Open Beta, which is usually the real reason plenty of players lock in a pre-order early. It is a simple package, but not a weak one.

Vault Edition Extras
The Vault Edition sits at $99.99, though some buyers may see the price drop to $89.99 if they already own eligible Call of Duty titles. That version still includes the base game and the same pre-order rewards, but it adds a lot more on top. You get the Hostile Alliance Operator Pack, the Special Forces Operator Pack, and the Signature Weapon Collection. The blueprints listed for the collection include the Kastov 762 Voltspine, Iso Nightshade La Sombra Venenosa, Rezi 12 Shattered Code, Oris 8.6 Volt-Edge, and the Combat Knife Sombra Besada. The Vault Edition also throws in access to the Season 1 BlackCell Pass and a DMZ Deployment Bonus, so it is clearly aimed at players who plan to stick with the game for a while.

Pre-Order Perks Worth Watching
There are three pre-order points people keep talking about most. First, the Hunter Killer Operator Skin is available in Modern Warfare 4, Black Ops 7, and Warzone as soon as you buy in. Second, the Open Beta access gives you a shot at playing early, but only if you pre-order before the beta window starts. Third, there is talk of Early Campaign Access, though that one still sounds unconfirmed, so it is best not to treat it like a lock just yet. If you want to save a bit and still get the important stuff, the Standard Edition is fine. If you know you'll be playing for months, the Vault Edition has more room to justify itself. For players trying to decide how far they want to go, cheap MW4 Bot Lobbies can also be part of the conversation, especially if you're thinking about how you want to spend your time once the game drops.
